SVP Finance

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Vice President of Finance to lead our finance department and contribute to the overall success of our organisation.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a SVP Finance to join the team and work alongside our Senior Leaderships team to ensure the smooth running of the company's finances by managing gains and expenditures, keeping detailed records and identifying solutions to problems in financial processes, whilst coaching, directing, and structuring financial team members and projects for best efficacy.

Our successful candidate is someone who can hit the ground running and gets excited by implementing change and being part of a fast-growing company that’s trying to make a positive mark in the payments industry.

This individual must be comfortable presenting to key stakeholders of the business and board members, and have an excellent attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee all company accounts and expenditure.

Pulling together monthly and annual reports to identify financial and KPI results, trends, and financial forecasts.

Review all financial plans and budgets, regularly looking for cost reduction opportunities

Manage and make improvements to commercial pricing model calculation templates for Sales & Partnership teams

Provide robust, comprehensive and insightful financial planning and analysis to challenge the business on cost management and contribute to operational decision making

Preparing monthly financial dashboard and commentary for senior team and Investors

Create long-term finance department strategic plans which align with the company's strategic plan and business plan.

Manage all financial aspects of the company (forecasting, budgeting and analysis).

Oversee business financial management and ascertain areas which need improvement.

Managing the relationship with Auditors / External Tax Advisors and the year-end statutory audit.

    DESIRED BEHAVIOURS & COMPETENCE

    Highly competent at Microsoft Office with particular expertise in Excel.

    Highly numerate, well-organised, accurate and with high attention to detail.

    First-class communications skills of business writing.

    Experience in accounting/finance for a technology services provider, ideally in payments.

    Experience from a dynamic, high-growth entrepreneurial environment with a global customer base (preferred).

    Highly competent with Salesforce (or another similar CRM system) for data export and forecasting purposes (preferred).

    Proven experience preparing financial management information including budgeting and forecasts.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the same role or equivalent.

    ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent).

    Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, statistics or mathematics.
