About the role:

As a Business Analyst, you will be a key member of several Scrum teams, contributing to the building and development process of several products at the same time. You will be responsible for understanding and documenting business requirements and processes, supporting Product Owners and Scrum teams in creating and delivering solutions, and for the capture and maintenance of product epics and features.

You will also play an important role in sharing knowledge of the processes and products you look after to other teams which will be critical to APEXX’S continued growth.

Responsibilities:

-Building up knowledge of our unique solutions by evaluating and gathering product requirements

-Provide further design documentation such as Interface Specifications/Data Dictionaries, Reporting Specifications and graphical representations such as UML diagrams

-Work with Scrum Masters, Architects and Developers to create and refine stories, allowing them to plan and start work

-Review (grooming) of backlogs with Product Owners and Scrum teams, ensuring backlog requirements are managed and reflect the Product Owner’s order of priorities

-Support implementations from ideation through to go-live (including support of testing and associated bugs)

Requirements:

-3-6 years of vast experience in a similar role in the financial services industry

-Experience using Quicksight/Power BI/Qlikview/Tableau

-Experienced in SQL, Data Management and Scripting (preferably in Python)

-Strong data visualisation, design skills, data modelling and data inference skills

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across different disciplines

-Enjoy collaborating and working in cross-functional environments

-Excited by building innovative cloud-native payment solutions

-Strong communicator who enjoys working in teams

-Strong spoken and written English is a must

-Compassionate, creative, curious, self-motivated, and not afraid to challenge the status-quo

Qualifications:

A Degree/Masters in Computer Science, Engineering or similar discipline is ideal
