Reconciliation Product Owner

As a Reconciliation Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in defining and delivering innovative reconciliation solutions for our clients.

As a Reconciliation Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in defining and delivering innovative reconciliation solutions for our clients. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, manage a Business Analyst, and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. This position requires you to work from our Farringdon office three days a week.

QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

Minimum of 2 years of experience in file reconciliation or a related field, with a strong focus on payments

Strong SQL knowledge with the ability to write complex queries and perform data analysis

Proven experience working with large datasets and understanding data integrity principles

Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies in data

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and external customers and partners

Experience in Agile development methodologies is preferred but not essential

A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality products

Experience with scripting languages such as Python is preferred


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Collaborate with stakeholders to define a roadmap for reconciliation products and client projects, focusing on delivering payment solutions

    Identify and develop product enhancements to improve reconciliation processes

    Manage a Business Analyst, with the potential to grow and lead a larger team

    Coordinate with clients and Acquirers/PSPs on delivery timeframes for new integrations

    Work within APEXX data standardisation templates to deliver consistent reporting externally and internally

    Document reconciliation processes both as a product and at client and Acquirer/PSP levels, providing internal and external training where necessary

    Prioritise and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs

    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Tech, QA, and Implementation, to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget

    Build out requirements templates to give your department the best chance of success

    Gather and analyse user feedback to continuously improve product features and functionality

    Act as a subject matter expert on reconciliation processes and techniques

    Work with BA support to lead user acceptance testing and validation of product releases

    Provide guidance and support to internal teams and customers on product usage and best practices

    Communicate confidently with key stakeholders, pushing back to partners and clients when necessary
