👇About the role:
Our Operations team is at the core of our customer experience. This role will focus on developing our payment operations, focusing on efficiency and scalability. Working in collaboration with our product and engineering teams, you will have the opportunity to shape our processes and systems for the management of in-flight payments.
Being a small but efficient operations department, as a Payments Operations Specialist you will be trained to support your colleagues across Payment Operations, Compliance and Customer Support.
🏗️ Key Delieverables:
Quickly resolve inflight payment queries
Improve systems and processes for in-flight payment queries to scale more efficiently
Increase payment straight through processing ratios through error reviews and analysis
Work with Product teams to ensure new products launch successfully
Manage key banking relationships to understand and align development roadmaps
Gather customer feedback as input for improved product development and customer experience
The role requires a diverse skill set and engagement with multiple internal and external stakeholders. You will be pivotal in supporting our customers and ensuring Crezco’s payment operations scale efficiently. Given this variety, the successful candidate will build a range of important skills for future development opportunities.

🎯 What you will need to be successful:
Previous experience in a payments environment, preferably in a FinTech company
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in the financial services sector, particularly in relation to open banking and online payments
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
Tools proficiency - Microsoft Office Suite, CRM (ideally HubSpot), communication software (e.g. Slack, Teams), compliance software (e.g. Veriff, Creditsafe)
Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, with travel to our Notting Hill office
