We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Finance team. Reporting to the CFO as Legal Counsel you will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice to the teams, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation and solving legal challenges to support Lookiero’s strategy

What will be your challenge? (Key accountabilities)

• Draft, assess, analyze, negotiate and finalize contracts, non-disclosure agreements and other legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements in all the markets Lookiero operates.
• Assist in managing the company’s compliance with privacy regulations.
• Support all departments with legal review and advice.
• Coordinate external legal counsels and manage all legal areas within the Company (Corporate, Labor, GDPR…).
• Advice on risks and legal implications of business decisions.
• Develop the legal strategy aligned with core business initiatives and improve internal legal processes and structure.

What will make you succeed? (Skills, know-how and experience)

• +3 years experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel
• Specialised in Corporate law with a general knowledge of different legal fields
• Strong understanding of global privacy laws and regulations.
• We are an international company, so the ability to read and speak in English is needed.
• Working knowledge of laws, regulations, financial compliance and best practices in the field.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
