From London to New York, Istanbul to Paris, and Berlin to Mexico - we work together to realise MUBI’s vision.

That’s where you come in! Join our global team and help us make great cinema accessible to everyone, everywhere.

About the role

In this role, you’ll serve a dual-purpose in two key areas of MUBI – People and Talent. You’ll support and guide our team, enabling them to thrive and grow!

We’re a lean, impactful People team of 4, working with over 300 employees globally at MUBI. You’ll work closely with our People & Talent Lead and VP People, on our hiring efforts and People initiatives, enabling our teams to attract, retain and develop great talent across the world. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow across multiple parts of a People function.

You will focus on:

  • Building and refining people & talent processes and workflows

  • Contributing to projects in our People roadmap, currently involving performance, benefits, goal setting, growth, DEI, training sessions and many more exciting things!

  • Supporting our regular people projects and processes, which include our annual employee survey and our mid/end of year performance review cycles

  • Guiding our hiring managers on recruitment, helping them to attract top talent, all while delivering an exceptional candidate experience

  • Supporting our People operations – drafting agreements, VISA processes, maintaining compliance with local laws, and supporting on employee relations matters

  • Helping to smoothly and successfully onboard new joiners and elevate our existing practices

  • Assisting with creating & implementing our MUBI policies and guidance to keep the cultural dynamic of the business consistent across all of our global locations

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience working in a People and/or Talent function in a fast paced environment

  • An understanding of People challenges that the business might be facing at this stage of our growth, and ability to propose potential courses of action

  • Empathy to enable team progression, knowing when to challenge respectfully, and approach problems with curiosity and eagerness to solve

  • Experience supporting projects that create more efficient processes, e.g. performance, progression, DEI, workflows

  • Strong communication skills – we’re launching a lot of exciting things, which require engaging, fun & informative content!

Research shows that men apply to jobs if they meet ~60% of criteria, but women and those in marginalised communities tend to apply only if they check all the boxes.

If you feel you’ve got what it takes but don’t meet all the requirements we’ve listed above, we’d still love to see your application!

We want to make cinema accessible to everyone. We believe people from different backgrounds bring different ideas that foster innovation and engagement, allowing us to attract great people to develop the best experience for our users.
