The role in a nutshell:

As our Senior HR Services Manager you will provide in depth HR advice to a range of global clients relating to Employment Laws in France. You will be our subject matter expert. You will have an in depth knowledge of employment law and experience in managing complex litigations. This will include managing negotiations with external legal counsel.

How you will make a difference:

• Lead on complex litigations, working with clients to advise on resolutions.
• Be the main point of contact for all HR related questions throughout the worker life cycle
• Work together with the Operations Team to ensure successful onboarding for all new GEO workers
• Develop and maintain all types of contracts of employment
• Manage complex HR projects/issues with Worker(s)/Clients. Including but not limited to Performance Management, terminations & transfer of employment
• Apply and update HR policies, procedures and work conditions as well as ensuring their communication and compliance
• Actively identify gaps in processes and implement changes necessary to mitigate risk
• Proactively support the GEO Team and Line Management with regular updates on employment law
• Work with associated benefit providers to provide legally compliant benefit packages for all workers and provide benefit costing updates
• Manage the monthly payroll for all workers with our local payroll partner

What will give you an advantage:

• Strong proven knowledge of French Labor Law is essential
• Previous experience within a Human Resources role
• Expert on Terminations (individual, collective Redundancy, mutual Agreement/RC, litigations).
• Fluent language skills in French & English are essential (Written and Verbal)
• Experience in advising on complex Employment Relations Issues
• Focused on results, ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
• A good level of payroll management skills
