The role in a nutshell:

The Account Manager (AM) will grow key accounts identified by the company by selling additional services into these accounts, which will drive growth. The AM will manage, control and set expectations with the stakeholders of the account.

This role will be client facing, while also being responsible for liaising with internal departments regarding the Key Performance Indicators and report back to the client in a timely fashion.

It is expected that the AM will build rapport and a strong relationship with the client to ensure Safeguard has accurate insight to the development plans of the company.

They will ensure that a fluid process is set in place and make certain that the client receives the highest levels of customer service with an end result of accounts growing to their full potential.

How you will make a difference:

  • Developing sales opportunities from proactive customer nurturing

  • Building and maintaining client profiles, client mapping, and client retention plans

  • Achieving monthly and quarterly account growth targets

  • Scoping and providing deep insight into new territories the client might be expanding into

  • Maintaining an accurate forecast for client’s growth potential

  • Annual and quarterly client growth reviews and client meetings to review Key Performance Indicator

  • Proactively initiate, respond to and follow up on all sales inquiries with our disruptive virtual approach (and occasional client site visits)

  • Working alongside clients on any issues and leveraging the right internal departments to ensure items are resolved promptly.

What will give you an advantage:

  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish, French/Dutch would be an asset

  • 4+ years in B2B consultative selling and Customer Success. You need to feel the customer is a central part of your success.

  • Being able to understand and forecast customer needs and offer them the best solutions to adapt to the demands of today's market

  • Results-oriented and demanding personality, knowing what to do to reach your potential

  • Enjoying contact with C-Level, HR Directors, People Managers and developing excellent planning and organizational skills

  • Being a communicative and outgoing person

  • People-focused, human-centric and sociable

  • A great team player
