How you will make a difference:

  • Managing end-to-end GEO Credit Control operations for a global team, overseeing timely collection of payments from company debtors, thus ensuring the accurate debts management of accounts receivable.

  • Directing all activities associated with GEO accounts receivable globally, ensuring high-quality invoicing and collection procedures.

  • Preparing credit notes and assisting with month end.

  • Meeting accounts receivable financial standards.

  • Setting regular weekly and monthly deadlines to process the payment and accounts.

  • Managing bad debt provisions and setting up of payment plans.

  • Coordinating the establishment of the terms of credit for new clients and taking an active part in negotiating payment plans.

  • Preparing reports of regular intervals (monthly, quarterly and annual) making forecasts on payment flow.

  • Conducting credit checks and taking part in negotiations with clients in non-payment cases.

  • Ensuring team KPI and satisfaction metrics are achieved within the team.

What will make you stand out:

  • In-depth knowledge of credit law

  • Familiar with financial, accounting, and bookkeeping software, spreadsheets, forecasting, and Statement of Financial Accounting Standards.

  • Previous leadership experience in Credit Management role

  • Strong billing, coding and budgeting experience

  • Experience in time and process management.

  • Experienced in managing globally disbursed teams

  • Demonstrated track record of growing internal talent and team responsibilities

  • Strong analytical, documentation and problem-solving skills and a high level of confidentiality.

  • A master's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration would be an advantage.
