The role in a Nutshell

The Implementation Consultant (IC) position role is to gather the data needed to set up the payroll project in the PT payroll engine, perform this set up and associated reports, manage the project in its early days from the data gathering phase, till first month of Go Live, having managed and produced in between the monthly parallel runs needed to have a perfect setup and produce the monthly payroll.

The IC is responsible for the project management till the Go Live if the project is managed only at local market (LM) level or follows the guidance and phasing (and then use Safeguard (SG) templates) of the Global Implementation team.

How you will make a difference:


  • Support PT GM if needed in Pre-Sales meetings around PT payroll specifics and how Implementation is taking place.

Data Gathering

  • Support Global Managed Payroll (GMP)/Implementation team and PT LM Operations team with clients to be implemented, assuring all PT payroll specifics explanations and templates are aligned with Safeguard platform and PT Payroll engine.
  • Work together with GMP team and/or client the PT country service list to define/fine tune the exhaustive list of services (some of them included in the standard payroll package, some of them being additional services selected by the client) in order to align with operations team, all service deliverables.

System Build

  • Based on the different set of data contained in Gross to Net (GTN), master data files, CRM, and all HR/CBA/client specific agreement, create in the payroll engine:

Transition to Payroll Production

  • Prepare the transition to Production/Operations by creating the client profile template and organize with Payroll Team leader the client account creation in Global Unity (GU)
  • Support the OPS during the first month of production by keeping the ownership at LM of relationship with client/GMP team and verifying the input and output of the Payroll.

What will give you an advantage:

  • Full knowledge about PT payroll and PT related labor legislation
  • Experience in Payroll implementation or migration processes
  • Full knowledge about current PT Payroll engine set up
  • Good level of English, written and oral communication skills are essential
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, mainly MS Excel
  • Good communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to comfortably interact & communicate with all levels of the organization
  • A self-starter personality with ability to adapt to shifting priorities and meet deadlines in a changing environment.
  • Strong administration and organizational skills
