How you will make a difference:

You will ensure the quality of software development and deployment, with a strong focus on implementing test automation. You will work closely with cross-functional, agile project teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), which are being utilised for our chatbot.

• Understand business requirements for effective testing
• Develop test cases, uncover edge cases, and perform manual tests as needed
• Define and drive innovative automated testing strategies and toolsets
• Design, develop, and support frameworks for test infrastructure
• Research, recommend, and implement automation tools
• Coach team members on automation practices
• Document processes meticulously
• Use KPIs to validate and report on software quality

Test for functional edge cases and ensure software is fit for purpose

What will make you stand out:

• Extensive experience in QA automation
• Thorough understanding of automated QA processes in agile environments
• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate
• Experience with automated test suites (Webdriver, Cypress, Browserstack, Saucelabs, Grid, TestRail)
• Proficient in JavaScript and REST API testing
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., git)
• Proficient with bug tracking and test management tools
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux OS, shell scripting, or Expect scripting
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD processes
• Testing enterprise applications deployed to AWS
• Understanding of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Experience with AI/LLMs is a major plus
• Certifications: CTFL, ISTQB, CSQA, or CSTE preferred
