The role in a nutshell:

As a Global Benefits Senior Manager, you’ll leverage your international benefits expertise and be responsible for the oversight and delivery of quality Benefits Services to our Clients, their employees and GEO workers. You will help develop and support the strategy, vision, and direction for the group, meeting the varied needs of employees, clients and business. You will also be responsible for monitoring market practices and benefit legal requirements to ensure benefit offerings remain competitive and legally compliant.

How you will make a difference:

  • Make recommendations for improving effectiveness of policies and procedures.
  • Actively work with clients to maximize engagement and develop plans to meet existing and future need and resolve client escalations
  • Develop, support, implement and maintain consistent processes and drive adherence to plans that provide our clients with a seamless end to end experience.
  • Effective communication through multiple channels is key to this role to keep all participants engaged and informed.
  • Coach and mentor the benefits team to drive performance and service to support the business strategy Maintain sound working knowledge of in country regulations to keep up to date on benefit compliance legislative changes
  • Provide support, guidance and monitoring implementations and vendor performance
  • Effectively maintain timely and effective KPI and support business reporting
  • Monitor the performance of individuals of the team, including setting SMART objectives, completing timely performance review, identifying training requirements and development opportunities
  • Maintain, support and the creation of standard operating procedures, systems and process documentation
  • Support clients and internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of benefit plans
  • Assist and support benefits projects using effective analytical skills to improve benefits offerings in line with business goals & financial objectives


What will give you an advantage:

  • 7+ years international benefits administration and 3+ years in management with experience and strong knowledge of country legislation and benefits design including varying legal requirements, cultural norms and global market practices
  • 3+ years in a consultative client facing role.
  • Thorough understanding of benefits principles, practices and procedures while recognizing the impacts of employee benefits laws, regulations and compliance
  • Proven track record of dealing with individuals at all levels up to and up to and including C level. Both internally and externally
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences.
  • Multi-language skills a plus
  • High degree of success leading complex projects with documented plans to drive actions and achieve objectives.
  • Aptitude for analytical thinking and creative solutions with strong decision-making skills
  • Ability to deal with and navigate through transitions and ambiguity to drive successful change initiatives
