As an Account Manager at Safeguard Global, you will nurture and grow a select set of strategic accounts by focusing on retention and selling additional services to drive growth. The core tenet of this role is that by truly understanding the client’s business, we can ‘see around corners’ to deliver exceptional and perfectly timed support that drives adoption and growth. Who You Are:
You are driven to exceed client expectations and have developed a keen ability to identify roadblocks and overcome obstacles to increase business while enhancing the client experience. You are a persuasive and confident communicator with the ability to educate clients on the use and benefits of an Employer of Record service as a strategic solution to the challenges of global expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the key point-of-contact for your clients with the outcome of increasing customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly quota
- Service accounts and sell back into to increase revenue
- Build and maintain a client profile, client mapping, and client retention plans
- Drive engagement by coordinating regular meetings with key decision makers
- Scope and provide deep insight into new territories the client might be expanding into
- Maintain an accurate forecast for clients growth potential
- Lead recurring client meetings to review Key Performance Indicator and monthly/quarterly business reviews
- Exceed quality service, encourage client retention and introduce new services and opportunities through coordinated efforts with internal teams.
- Quarterly or semiannual client site visits
Key Technical Skills & Knowledge
- 3+ years of experience in sales, client success, account management or consulting where you’ve been measured on both qualitative and quantitative performance metrics
- Established history of successfully managing issues through resolution and escalation management and an outstanding customer service record
- Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
- Solid relationship building, negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage change within a fast-paced environment.
- Quick learner with the ability to apply knowledge and thrive in a team environment.
How you’ll stand-out:
- You have demonstrated experience in, and proficient working knowledge of contingent workforce trends and Employer of Record (EOR) or Professional Employer Organization (PEO) models;
- You have worked with Vendor Management Systems (VMS), Managed Service Providers (MSPs), or under Statement of Work (SOW) models previously; and, or
- You have certifications that may include a professional HR designation, CCWP, a staffing provider certification, or other relevant industry recognition
