The role in a nutshell:

The HR Shared Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of centralized HR services and ensuring efficient, consistent, and high-quality support across our clients. This role manages a team that handles core HR hire to retire functions. The manager ensures compliance with HR policies and labor laws, drives process improvements, and leverages technology to enhance service delivery. Supporting strategic HR initiatives and business goals through streamlined and scalable HR services.

How you will make a difference:

  • Collaborate with senior HR leadership to support and execute HR Shared Services strategic plans.
  • Translate broader HR strategy into functional plans and operational processes for the Shared Services team.
  • Identify opportunities to increase operational efficiency and support long-term HR transformation initiatives.
  • Manage the allocation of workload and resources to meet deadlines and service goals.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional HR Shared Services team, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to team members.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, addressing skill gaps and enhancing overall capability
  • Act as the primary escalation point for team and client issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Oversee the delivery of end-to-end hire-to-retire processes, ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and clients through proactive communication and support.
  • Participate in client implementation meetings to gather requirements and follow through on key action items.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements, leveraging automation and technology to streamline workflows.
  • Stay up to date with changes in legislation and HR compliance standards, ensuring team practices align with local and global regulations.
  • Ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs) are met, including ticket resolution time, service quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive working environment within the HR team and with other business units.
  • Develop strong partnerships across global HR operations to ensure alignment and best practice sharing.


What will give you an advantage:

  • 7+ years of experience in Global HR Shared Services for Global HR Shared Services for APAC, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) and US/Canada/LATAM countries in a multi-national/global organization with client facing responsibilities
  • Well versed with Employment Laws that helps to draft the employment contract and advice the Clients on local in-country laws.
  • Well versed with Benefits (Statutory/Supplementary), Exit/Termination rules (Voluntary/Non-voluntary) to be able to guide the Client
  • Experienced in managing globally disbursed teams and managing a work-from-home/hybrid workforce, demonstrated track record of growing internal talent and preparing people for new and expanded responsibilities
  • Demonstrated track record of service delivery excellence
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain positive and proactive communication/coordination between various stakeholders in delivery of assigned work for employees
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a dynamic, results-oriented environment
  • Understand and recognize when there is a sense of urgency and be able to prioritize activities accordingly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences.
