How you will make a difference:


As a Sales & Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities in the Italian market across key sectors (e.g., logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, IT, retail). You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering customized staffing solutions including temporary staffing, permanent placement, and staff leasing.

  • Identify and target new client opportunities through market research, networking, referrals, and cold outreach.

  • Conduct client meetings (in-person or virtual) to understand business needs and position our staffing services accordingly.

  • Develop proposals and negotiate commercial terms aligned with company targets.

  • Collaborate with recruitment teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of candidates.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to ensure repeat business.

  • Track sales pipeline using CRM and report on progress against sales KPIs.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking activities.

  • Stay informed on labor market trends, competitors, and legislative updates affecting the staffing sector in Italy.

What will give you an advantage:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the staffing, recruitment, or HR services industry.

  • Strong knowledge of Italian labor laws and staffing models

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a full sales cycle.

  • Fluent in Italian and proficient in English (written and spoken).

  • Strong organisational and CRM skills (e.g., Salesforce).

  • Experience selling to mid-size and large companies in manufacturing, logistics, or IT.

  • Familiarity with Staffing, RPO, and international staffing solutions.

  • Existing portfolio of client contacts or industry network is a strong plus.
