We are seeking a Transformational Leader to head our Information Technology (IT), Cybersecurity, Fin-Ops and Application Support functions at Safeguard Global. This multi-disciplinary role is central to enabling operational excellence, scalability, security, and financial efficiency across our global technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with technical depth and operational rigor.

As Director, IT, Cybersecurity, FinOps and Application Support, your responsibilities will include:

Security & Compliance: Build a security-first culture across the organization through awareness programs and proactive engagement.

  • Own enterprise-wide security posture, including application, cloud, endpoint, network security and Vulnerability Management

  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks for data protection, identity access, threat detection, and incident response.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.) and drive security audits and assessments.

Internal IT Operations: Ensure secure and effective IT service delivery across a hybrid/distributed workforce.

  • Oversee corporate IT operations including; Endpoint management, SaaS provisioning, Identity management, Patching, IT Vendor Management, Licensing and Asset Lifecycle Management, BCP & DR capabilities. Office Infrastructure like VPN, Switches, Routers, etc. and help desk support.

  • Manage lifecycle and procurement of hardware/software, and ensure business continuity planning.

Application Support: Lead a global application support team for internal and customer-facing systems.

  • Implement service reliability metrics (SLAs/OLAs) and drive root cause analysis and proactive support strategies.

  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure seamless application rollouts and escalations.

FinOps: Develop and lead a FinOps strategy to monitor, forecast, and control cloud and SaaS spend across departments.

  • Work with finance and engineering teams to establish budgets, allocate usage, and improve cost efficiency.

  • Deploy cost visibility dashboards and enforce accountability frameworks across teams.

  • Ensure consistent tagging, budgeting, and anomaly detection practices in cloud environments.


Leadership & Strategy: Build and mentor cross-functional teams across IT, Security, App support, and FinOps.

  • Define and track KPIs and operational SLAs to measure service quality, compliance, and financial performance.

  • Serve as a key stakeholder in technology planning, M&A due diligence, and enterprise transformation initiatives.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Legal, HR, and executive leadership to align operations with business goals.

About you: The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a focus on operational excellence, bringing a passion for technology and a strong customer-centric approach:

  • 10+ years of experience leading global IT, Security, or Enterprise Tech Operations, with 5+ years in a leadership role.

  • Proven success managing cloud IT environments and enterprise SaaS platforms.

  • Deep understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST), IAM, and endpoint management.

  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL, AWS/GCP Architect, FinOps Certified Practitioner are advantageous.

  • Familiarity with tools like Sentinel One, Active Directory, Microsoft EntraID, Intune, Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk and other enterprise platforms.
