About the role - what’s your purpose?

We are looking for a BI Engineer to work with our Strategic Solutions and Internal Tools teams to support the build & infrastructure of technical solutions for our large enterprise clients.

The role will need to manage the data infrastructure and quality across multiple client & internal projects. You'll work closely with our engineers, solution architects and implementation managers in order to support delivery of standardised and custom dashboards & reports. This role should have a strong level of independence to manage and optimise the data structures and processes to ensure the products are robust and fit for purpose.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities - What you will be doing?

• Working in a collaborative environment where you'd be expected to be pair programming most of your time.
• Manage databases and comprehensive QA checks within databases & dashboards.
• Utilise data models for different use cases & tailor the necessary ETL processes that precede them.
• Monitor and optimise performance of processes, dashboards and reports, and manage security & governance structures for each project.
• Technical support for our key enterprise solutions, working within the solution architect & implementation teams.

Who are we looking for?

• Confident in ETL process management (Python, AWS, SQL, etc.)
• Proficient in data modelling & transformation
• Proficient in data pipeline & QA management
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Yellowfin)
• Proficient in data analysis and dashboard build
• Experienced in communicating technical issues with both clients and engineers
• Experience with data as a service and working with commercial timelines
