Senior Treasury System Implementation Advisor (TMS) – Indonesian Bank | Jakarta Hybrid

We are supporting a leading global management consulting firm working with a major Indonesian bank on a large-scale treasury system transformation, migrating from a legacy platform to a new Treasury Management System (TMS)..

The bank is seeking a senior treasury subject matter expert to support the project lead and provide guidance across the end-to-end implementation lifecycle. This role will work closely with treasury leadership, project stakeholders, and the system vendor to ensure the platform is configured and delivered in line with business requirements, Indonesian market practices, and regulatory standards.

Project Overview

• Treasury system migration from a legacy platform to a new Treasury Management System
• Implementation expected to commence May 2026

Engagement Details

• Location: Jakarta, Indonesia (Hybrid – minimum 50% onsite)
• Contract Duration: Initial 3 months with potential extension until December 2027 and more
• Engagement Type: Contract / Advisory
• Commitment: 50% – Full-time (to be confirmed)
• Payrate in USD

Key Responsibilities

• Support the bank’s project lead in overseeing the end-to-end treasury system implementation
• Provide guidance on system configuration, product setup, workflows, and data mapping
• Advise on best practices across front-to-back treasury processes
• Liaise with the selected system vendor to review solution design and ensure alignment with business requirements
• Provide oversight and constructive challenge to ensure implementation decisions are robust and fit-for-purpose
• Support engagement with senior stakeholders across treasury, operations, and technology teams

Required Experience

• Strong end-to-end treasury knowledge across Front, Middle, and Back Office functions, including trading, risk, operations, accounting, and treasury reporting
• Experience supporting or leading a Treasury Management System implementation
• Good understanding of Indonesian market practices and regulatory requirements
• Ability to operate at a senior advisory level while remaining hands-on in system and configuration discussions

Preferred Background

• Former Treasury Division Head / Treasury Operations Head at an Indonesian bank
• Treasury transformation or Treasury Business Support leader
• Senior consultant from a systems integrator delivering treasury system implementations
• Implementation lead from a treasury system vendor

Experience with Calypso or Murex is advantageous but not mandatory.
