Project Overview
You will be part of a high-impact digital platform transformation for a leading financial institution in Thailand, delivered through a global management consulting engagement. The initiative focuses on building and scaling a secure, multi-channel digital platform, applying modern cloud, automation, and platform engineering best practices.
This role requires close collaboration with internal engineering teams, providing hands-on technical delivery as well as architectural guidance to uplift cloud maturity, reliability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with application teams to onboard workloads onto Microsoft Azure platforms
- Work in Agile delivery teams, actively participating in sprint ceremonies and backlog refinement
- Provide guidance on cloud architecture, security, and cost optimization
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Automate provisioning, deployment, and operational workflows using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
- Architect and manage Azure networking including VNets, VNet Peering, Private Endpoints, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, and Firewalls
- Troubleshoot hybrid cloud connectivity and optimize performance
- Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and platform standards
- Apply SRE and platform reliability practices to ensure scalability and resilience
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of overall IT experience, with 3+ years in cloud environments
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (compute, storage, networking, identity, security)
- Hands-on experience with Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar)
- Knowledge of containers and orchestration (AKS, Docker, Helm)
- Experience with automation using Python and/or Bash
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
- Strong understanding of cloud networking and hybrid connectivity
- Background in SRE or platform reliability engineering is highly preferred
- Experience guiding or mentoring engineers is a plus
