Independent Expert – Consumer Lending Strategy (Contract)

Job Description:

We are a global consulting firm seeking an independent expert with experience building or leading a consumer lending business (ideally mortgages or securitized lending, though broader unsecured lending experience may also be relevant).

The role will involve providing outside-in advice and guidance to a consumer lending business on a large-scale program to build a new lending origination platform.

Contract duration: 4–8 weeks

Location: Australia, Sydney (on-site presence required, exact location to be confirmed)

Time commitment: To be confirmed

Pay rate: USD (to be discussed)

Requirements

Must have:

• Experience in senior leadership or delivery roles (either P&L ownership or large-scale program / business build roles) within a bank or non-bank lender
• Strong background in consumer lending
• Experience with globally recognized institutions or brands
