Hi,

Director of Growth & Healthcare Partnerships

Remote (US)

Full-Time

The opportunity

This is a project ownership role. You'll lead our initiative to bring affordable healthcare to self-pay users, visitors, and small businesses across the country. You'll own the channels that get us in front of the people we want to serve — healthcare brokers who advise small employers, affinity organizations that represent self-pay communities, and direct partnerships with networks that touch our target audience. You'll work closely with the CEO and the broader team to grow the platform's reach, sign meaningful partnerships, and build the foundation for a category-defining healthcare brand.

If you believe healthcare should be accessible and affordable, and you have the experience and drive to make that real at scale, we'd like to talk to you.

What you'll lead

  • The healthcare broker channel — the most important distribution channel for reaching small businesses and their employees. You'll build relationships with producing brokers and general agencies, develop the materials and tools they need to sell our product, and grow a national network of brokers offering affordable healthcare to their clients.
  • Affinity and community partnerships — associations, credit unions, religious and community organizations, and patient communities that share our mission of healthcare access. You'll identify and close partnerships that bring thousands of new members through trusted channels.
  • Member acquisition and retention initiatives — referral programs, organic growth, and channel campaigns that turn first-time users into long-term members.
  • Project-level ownership — pipeline, reporting, partner success, and the operational rhythm that makes a growing platform actually grow.

Who we're looking for

An ambitious operator who wants to take real ownership of an initiative with significant impact. Specifically:

  • 4–7 years of experience in healthcare BD, partnerships, or sales — ideally in markets where you've sold to or through brokers, employers, or affinity organizations.
  • Direct experience in the healthcare broker market is what we most value — voluntary benefits, supplemental insurance, employee benefits, ICHRA, or self-pay healthcare distribution. Existing broker relationships are a meaningful advantage.
  • A track record of building channel partnerships from scratch and scaling them — outbound campaigns, signed partners, and revenue growth you can speak to.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to represent a mission-driven product to sophisticated buyers.
  • Self-directed and disciplined in a remote work environment.
  • Most importantly: you care about the mission. Healthcare access isn't just a market opportunity for you — it's something you want to spend your time working on.

Strongly preferred

  • Background at a voluntary benefits carrier (such as Aflac, Colonial Life, Allstate Benefits, Unum, Combined) or a consumer healthcare membership platform (such as Mira, Sidecar Health, Sesame, Crossover Health, Eden Health).
  • Experience in the ICHRA or small employer benefits space (such as Take Command, Gravie, Salusion, Nava Benefits).
  • Existing network of healthcare brokers.
