Position: Product Manager – Banking, Payments & Financial Products

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (On-site)

Contract Duration: 3–6 Months potential of extension

Payout in USD with Full statutory benefits as per country law

Important Note

Candidates with Product Management experience across Cards, Payments, Retail Banking, Lending, Digital Banking, FinTech, or other Financial Products will be considered. Credit Card experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Our client is a leading global payments technology organization enabling secure and innovative payment solutions across more than 200 countries and territories.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead paper approvals and governance workflows.

• Coordinate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and internal approval forums.

• Track milestones, dependencies, and unblock issues through the approval process.

• Translate product decisions into launch messaging requirements.

• Coordinate with Marketing on creatives, channels, and launch timelines.

• Develop or adapt training materials.

• Coordinate product briefings for sales, branch, and frontline teams.

• Manage launch checklists, dependencies, and cutover activities.

• Act as the primary coordination point across Product, Operations, and Marketing during go-live.

Requirements

• Approximately 5–7 years of Product Management experience.

• Experience within Cards, Banking, Payments, Lending, Digital Banking, FinTech, or other Financial Products.

• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.

• Experience working with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Marketing stakeholders.

• Excellent communication and project coordination capabilities.
