About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analytics Consultant to support strategic consulting and analytics engagements for leading banking and financial services clients in Indonesia. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside global analytics and consulting teams, leveraging large-scale transaction and market datasets to deliver actionable insights and business impact.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business intelligence initiatives, performance optimization, customer segmentation, benchmarking studies, and strategic analytics projects for major financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis using client and proprietary datasets to generate actionable business insights.
• Develop customer segmentation, benchmarking frameworks, rule-based models, and performance tracking solutions.
• Analyze large datasets and synthesize findings into clear business recommendations.
• Support the development of client presentations, reports, and strategic deliverables.
• Review analytics outputs to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
• Support project implementation activities and track agreed actions and milestones.
• Assist in stakeholder alignment and coordination across multiple workstreams.
• Prepare materials for executive updates, project governance meetings, and steering committee sessions.
• Collaborate with internal consulting, analytics, and client teams to deliver project objectives.
• Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Native Indonesian speaker with strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Based in Jakarta and willing to work onsite with the client.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related fields.
• Strong experience in descriptive, predictive, and/or prescriptive analytics.
• Proven ability to work with large datasets and transform findings into business recommendations.
• Knowledge of business metrics, measurement frameworks, KPI development, and benchmarking methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with analytics tools such as Python, SQL, R, SAS, or similar technologies.
• Experience building, managing, and maintaining database structures and analytical models.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver under tight timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience within banking, payments, cards, lending, consumer banking, or financial services.
• Experience supporting consulting engagements or client-facing analytical projects.
• Exposure to payment networks, transaction analytics, customer insights, or financial services strategy initiatives.
• Experience presenting findings to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
