What you will do
The Logistics Analyst at Client Pacific is a crucial member of the Supply Chain team, responsible for overseeing Trade Compliance and Logistics operations. With ANZ importing over 80% of its products from various regions including APAC, EMEA, and NA, this role is vital for ensuring accurate HS code classification to prevent additional duty payments and avoid financial penalties associated with customs violations. As the subject matter expert, the Logistics Analyst must stay informed about evolving trade regulations, new and existing Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), and the latest duty environments. This proactive approach drives compliance and cost efficiency while identifying opportunities for duty drawbacks when necessary. Additionally, the role encompasses Trade Operations activities, such as Proof of Delivery (POD) confirmation and managing the performance of service providers.
Key Responsibility Areas
Trade Compliance Management
- Manage trade compliance issues with support from regional Trade Compliance teams.
- Ensure effective integration of regional trade compliance processes and standards in Pacific.
- Manage all manner of imports and export compliance in ANZ such as track rulings, active FTAs, packing lists respond to customs, and manage permits.
- Maintain tariff HS codes with support from the region in TA Portal.
- Support duty payments and lead duty drawbacks wherever needed.
- Support region with audit findings.
Logistics Coordination and Support
- Coordinate outbound activities with warehouse and transporters.
- Manage all inbound reports/activities from LSP.
- Handle rejection management, including coordination internally with supply chain and LSP’s.

Operational Efficiency
- Support technology implementation for Import and Export data and trade operational solutions for Pacific
- Market.Measure and govern third-party providers per Client global process and scorecards.
- Monitor and execute metrics for measuring compliance and operational performance.
- Inform on capability gaps to improve efficiency and define how to address.
- Maintain Invoice tracker for Transportation and perform validation and analyses of the invoices received from providers.
- Process weekly invoices for payment.Capture and upload weekly POD reports to OTIFD system.Investigate POD discrepancies against RDD in collaboration with Customer Engagement Team.
- Point of contact for miscellaneous logistics queries across the ANZ.
What we are looking for
- Preferred minimum education: Tertiary degree or equivalent work experience considered.
- Preferred areas of study: Supply Chain, Engineering, Math, Physics
- Preferred related industry experience: Preferably FMCG
- Demonstrated ability in trade compliance and customs regulations.
- Experience in managing supplier relationships
- Demonstrated analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience in supply chain (e.g. TMS ) related modules in ERP systems is advantageous
- Proficiency in SAP
