Join a global payments, technology, and professional services organization supporting leading financial institutions across Asia-Pacific. This opportunity offers exposure to banking strategy, transformation, data-driven problem solving, and executive-level consulting, working alongside experienced consulting professionals and senior client stakeholders.

We are looking for an experienced Strategy Advisor to support a major banking client in Ho Chi Minh City on strategic transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management consulting, banking strategy, corporate strategy, transformation, business analysis, or financial services advisory.

Role Overview

As a Strategy Advisor, you will support strategic and transformation initiatives for a leading banking client. You will be responsible for structuring complex business problems, conducting market and business analysis, developing strategic recommendations, and managing key project workstreams.

The role requires strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management, presentation, and consulting skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Transformation

• Support banking strategy and transformation initiatives across key business areas.
• Analyze business challenges and develop structured approaches to address strategic problems.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, business analysis, and industry assessments.
• Identify opportunities to improve business performance and create measurable client value.
• Support the development of strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and business cases.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with senior client stakeholders and business leaders.
• Manage relationships with client managers and act as a trusted consulting partner.
• Lead and participate in client and stakeholder meetings.
• Gather requirements, understand business priorities, and translate them into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal consulting teams and external stakeholders throughout project delivery.

Analysis & Recommendations

• Structure complex business problems using logical and data-driven approaches.
• Synthesize research and analysis into meaningful business insights.
• Develop executive-level recommendations and client-ready presentations.
• Build compelling PowerPoint storylines and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Support decision-making through quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Project Delivery

• Own and manage assigned project workstreams and deliverables.
• Plan and organize activities to meet project timelines and quality expectations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and third-party stakeholders.
• Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and key deliverables.
• Contribute to broader consulting methodologies, knowledge development, and solution development.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, banking strategy, business transformation, business intelligence, product management, or financial services advisory.
• Strong experience in stakeholder and client management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project workstreams and deliverables.
• Strong logical, structured, and analytical thinking.
• Excellent business and numerical analysis capabilities.
• Strong PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills.
• Ability to develop clear and compelling executive-level presentations.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven consulting environment.
• Willingness to work closely with clients and travel to client locations when required.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Vietnam.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with banks or financial institutions.
• Experience in banking transformation or financial services consulting.
• Experience developing business cases and strategic recommendations.
• Experience working with senior executives and C-level stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams within a consulting engagement.
• MBA or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Strategy, or a related discipline is advantageous
