Performance Improvement Consultant – Procurement & Manufacturing

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Performance Improvement Consultant to support a high-impact consulting engagement with a leading global strategy consulting firm.

The role focuses on hands-on Performance Improvement (PI) implementation across procurement, manufacturing operations, and related business functions. The ideal candidate will combine a strong consulting background with practical implementation experience, helping translate improvement opportunities into tangible operational outcomes.

Experience in the fashion or apparel industry is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive hands-on Performance Improvement initiatives across procurement and manufacturing operations.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and translate findings into actionable improvement plans.
• Support cost optimization, process improvement, productivity enhancement, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Work closely with client stakeholders and operational teams to implement improvement measures.
• Track implementation progress, key milestones, and business outcomes.
• Support the adoption of sustainable operational improvements across relevant functions.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience with an MBB consulting firm at Consultant level, or equivalent experience with another well-established management consulting firm.
• Strong hands-on Performance Improvement implementation experience, particularly in procurement and/or manufacturing operations.
• Experience translating improvement recommendations into practical implementation plans and measurable business outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Preferred Background

• Experience in the fashion, apparel, or textile industry is strongly preferred.
• Retail industry experience is an added advantage.
• Exposure to procurement transformation, manufacturing excellence, cost reduction, supply chain optimization, or operational transformation.
