What You’ll Do

This is a role for builders who want to make a direct impact. We’re creating a complete operating system for fertility clinics — from managing follicle scans to processing payments. It’s a rare chance to reinvent healthcare workflows for an entire sector.

Together with our current Senior Platform Engineer you will form a Platform Team, and execute on the following duties:

• Maintain and grow a multi-account, multi-region AWS infrastructure, orchestrated almost entirely with OpenTofu and GitHub Actions. This includes Governance, IAM, Data (RDS/S3/Valkey), Compute (EKS/EC2), Security - all of it.

• Re-imagine our GitOps deployment model based on ArgoCD and AWS EKS. You will own Kubernetes cluster tooling and CI/CD pipelines to make our developers proud.

• Perform regular maintenance of our Kubernetes clusters (upgrades), as well as open-source Terraform modules (to which we frequently contribute to).

• Re-design our holistic observability strategy, including future efficient on-call rotations, actionable alerting and continuous performance monitoring, for both the applications and the infrastructure.

• Deliver infrastructure to unblock mission-critical projects, striving for self-service “platform” solutions whenever possible.

• Own Security and Compliance, assuring highest levels of security, meeting ISO27001/SOC2/HIPAA standards.

• Shape the architecture and engineering culture of a product used by clinics across 14+ countries.

What You Bring

• Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, ideally on AWS, and container orchestration with Kubernetes (bonus points for GCP and CloudFlare).

• Experience shipping production grade infrastructure with Terraform/OpenTofu (bonus points for CloudPosse Atmos/Spacelift).

• Ability to write production-grade code in at least one programming language (i.e. Ruby-on-Rails/Golang), or one scripting language (i.e. Python/Bash).

• Transparent and intellectually honest communication — you say what you mean and mean what you say.

• A hunger for high-tempo environments where speed and quality are balanced through individual responsibility.

• Deep sense of responsibility, and ability to deliver solutions that stand the test of time.

• A willingness to fail fast and learn faster — two-way doors are your favourite kind of doors.
