Team Overview & The Role
We are looking for a passionate Engineer to join our cross-functional squad in London. While the role has a strong front-end focus, we are an AI-first engineering organization. - Full Stack Adaptability: Take ownership of domain software, contributing to our event-driven microservices platform when backend support is needed
- AI Engineering: Leverage agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) across the full development lifecycle, reviewing and hardening AI-generated outputs to maintain rigorous quality standards.
- Agile Delivery: Collaborate in a two-week delivery window to plan, develop, and release secure, cost-efficient features.
What You Bring
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a front-end engineer utilizing JavaScript/TypeScript and the React libary
- AI-Assisted Workflow: Daily practical experience with AI-assisted or agentic development tools, with the engineering judgment needed to audit and refine AI outputs.
- Modern Engineering Practices: Familiarity with TDD principles, clean architecture concepts, and consuming APIs (e.g., GraphQL)
- Mindset: An independent, critical thinker who thrives in collaborative, small-team environments and values continuous feedback.
Bonus Points
- Backend development experience in Java or Kotlin (ideally SpringBoot)
- Understanding of microservices, database concepts (RDBMS/PostgreSQL), and event-driven architectures (Kafka)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) or cloud deployments (AWS/Kubernetes)
