Job Description

Job Title: Senior Insights Manager

Employment Type: 11 / 12 month Fixed Term Contract, Starting in April 2025

Location: London

We have an exciting opportunity for Senior Insights Manager to join us on a Fixed Term Basis. Reporting into the Head of Insights, Sustainability & Health you will play a key owning our insights road map, collaborating with key stakeholders across our Active and Choice Tribes, running and overseeing key projects ensuring best internal research practices.

As well as leading on key initiatives you will also manage and mentor more junior team members, guiding their development, performance and career development.

Core Responsibilities

  • Managing the relationship with stakeholders in the Activate and Choice tribes, working collaboratively with them to identify knowledge gaps and build research project plans
  • Managing large research projects across these owned areas (and beyond, as needed), and supporting junior team members across smaller projects as needed
  • Line managing two reports, with weekly 1:1s, ensuring they are supported in building their skills and gaining opportunities for growth, with regular PDP sessions
  • Running weekly team meetings to check in on current and upcoming projects, as well as continuous OKRs such as AI adoption
  • Running twice-quarterly OKR check ins, and driving the review of OKRs each half, suggesting any changes to the team’s ways of working and goals to improve outcomes
  • Managing the Insight budget, keeping track of all lines, and feeding into 2026 budget planning
  • Building a sense of community and coaching more junior colleagues
  • Engaging effectively with other customer-facing teams (eg Analytics, Design) to guide knowledge sharing and collaboration across all relevant initiatives

Who You Are:

  • Experience in in-house market research / insights,, research agency within a consumer, subscription or D2C company would be hugely beneficial
  • Solid track record of leading large insight projects, from planning through delivery, ensuring recommendations are relevant and influence decisions, including working with agencies, from briefing through delivery
  • Demonstrable focus on business impact, evidencing your role in driving commercial and customer value
  • Experience in line managing, with a passion for guiding the development of junior team members
  • Ability to triangulate and bridge findings from various mixed methods sources into actionable insights that contribute to both product discovery and propositions/strategy
  • Foundational knowledge of user research theory, to enable effective collaboration with user researchers
  • Ability to engage stakeholders across functions and levels, to identify gaps in our knowledge of the customer experience and embed a customer first approach
  • Confident self-starter, able to juggle multiple projects in a dynamic, exciting and entrepreneurial environment. Strong problem-solving with an eagle eye for detail
  • Project management and prioritisation skills
