Job Description
Join Gousto's Technology team as a Senior Technical Delivery Manager, where you'll play a key role in delivering complex software initiatives that support our ambitious growth. Working across multiple squads, tribes and business functions, you'll connect strategic priorities with day-to-day delivery, helping teams execute effectively while improving how we deliver technology across the organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of delivery at Gousto. You'll lead critical technical workstreams, including platform migration activities, while helping evolve our AI-enabled delivery practices. Working closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Tribe Leads and stakeholders across the business, you'll improve planning, delivery flow and decision-making through collaboration, data and continuous improvement. This is an individual contributor role with significant influence across the organisation.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead delivery across complex software initiatives spanning multiple squads, tribes and business functions
- Translate product strategy and priorities into clear, achievable delivery plans across teams
- Coordinate complex technical workstreams, including platform migration activities, ensuring dependencies, sequencing and release readiness are effectively managed
- Partner with Product Managers, Engineering Managers and Tribe Leadership to improve planning, governance and delivery effectiveness
- Use delivery metrics and reporting tools to identify risks, trends, blockers and opportunities to improve delivery outcomes
- Develop and enhance AI-enabled delivery practices, automations and tooling that reduce manual effort and improve decision-making
- Support quarterly planning by providing insight into capacity, dependencies, risks and delivery trade-offs
- Coach delivery teams and stakeholders on agile delivery, planning, risk management and continuous improvement practices
- Proactively identify delivery challenges and work collaboratively to resolve systemic issues that impact successful delivery
- Communicate delivery progress, risks, decisions and priorities clearly with senior stakeholders across Technology and the wider business
Who You Are
- You have strong experience delivering complex software programmes across multiple agile teams in a product and technology environment
- You are technically fluent and able to engage confidently with Engineering teams on software delivery and technical dependencies
- You have a strong understanding of agile delivery, programme planning, governance, dependency management and risk management
- You are experienced using Jira and delivery reporting tools such as EazyBI or similar platforms
- You actively use AI tools to improve planning, reporting, delivery management and team effectiveness
- You can build or prototype lightweight automations, prompts or internal tools using AI-assisted technologies such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or similar
- You build trusted relationships with stakeholders and influence decisions through clear communication, data and sound judgement
- You are comfortable working strategically while remaining hands-on in supporting delivery teams and programmes
- You identify delivery risks and opportunities early, taking a proactive approach to improving outcomes
- You communicate complex information clearly and confidently, helping teams align and make informed decisions in fast-moving environments
