About Pact:

Pact Coffee works with the world’s finest farmers to bring outstanding speciality coffee to homes, hospitality venues and workplaces across the UK at a fair price, while improving lives and safeguarding farmers’ futures at origin.

For 12 years, we’ve been challenging ‘Big Coffee’ and leading the charge to reform the industry. By putting the needs of farmers first, rather than market investors, we can provide our customers with a quality of speciality coffee they won’t find anywhere else. Our growing multi-channel strategy (DTC, Ecommerce, Grocery, Hospitality, Offices and Wholesale) means that we can reach more and more customers and increase our social impact.

We are a B Corporation with a carbon-neutral roastery, and all our packaging is fully recyclable. Our focus on sustainability extends to the farmers we work with, many of whom champion planet-first practices.

Welcome to better coffee. Better for farmers, better for the planet, and better for you.

About the role:

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to join our lean but brilliant B2B Sales team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for winning, managing, and growing new accounts within the Office channel. Your goal is to establish Pact Coffee as the UK's most popular speciality coffee partner in the workplace.

Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Engagement and Deal Closing: Actively seek out and engage potential customers by pitching, negotiating, and closing deals to expand Pact Coffee's presence in the office space.
  • Pipeline Growth and Activity Targets: Drive high levels of prospecting activity, maintaining a minimum of 150 emails, 100 calls, and 5 client visits per week to fuel consistent pipeline growth.
  • Sales Pipeline and Target Reporting: Manage your sales pipeline with precision and report progress to the Head of B2B, ensuring you meet a monthly target of £2,000 MRR.
  • Account Launches and Support: Organize and oversee sampling sessions, machinery installations, barista training, and launch events for new accounts, ensuring smooth and successful onboarding.
  • Ensuring Account Success: With the support of the Key Account and Training teams, ensure new accounts operate at 80%+ compliance of booked MRR within the first 6 weeks of trading.
