As a Workplace Specialist, you will build and take care of our exceptional NYC office! 🏢 You are passionate about employee satisfaction, productivity, and quality workplace facilities. You will own workplace management and ensure that our facilities live up to our values. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, you’re a motivated self-starter who sees projects to completion, adept at multitasking, and highly solutions-driven ✨

The role...

  • Liaise with building management and onsite staff, manage building portal requests, address daily office-related items
  • Establish and maintain office procedures and administrative systems
  • Managing all existing office vendors and book new ones as needed
  • Maintain office supplies, kitchen snacks/drinks and supplies
  • Keep health and safety policies up to date, including fire safety drills and role assignments
  • Assist IT with office-related onsite needs and issues
  • Communicate updates, initiatives, and changes related to the office
  • Plan and oversee future office moves, furniture installations, and other relevant projects
  • Own workplace socials and employee engagement programs (parties, happy hours, weekly lunches, holiday celebrations)
  • Organize virtual events for our USA remote employees Coordinate and host onsite visits, including employees, founders and customers. events
  • First point of contact for all workplace facilities and events queries and employee travel queries
  • Champion employee engagement by promoting workplace culture
  • Manage inventory and ordering of swag for internal and external stakeholders
  • Deliver ad-hoc administrative tasks

About you...

  • Tech-savvy thinking, eg. you know your way around an AV set-up
  • 4+ years in workplace, events or project management
  • An onsite approach, working from our NYC office 4 days per week
  • Approachable and enjoy hosting socials
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask while maintaining a high level of quality
  • Experience organizing events, independently and collaborating with a team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability and willingness to take on new tasks
  • Solutions-oriented, proactive self-starter
  • Comfortable handling workplace deliveries, machinery and appliances

💰 Salary: $50,000 - $70,000
