Talent Acquisition is fairly new as a dedicated function at Synthesia but hiring the right people has always been of the utmost importance. We're entering a critical phase of growth and are seeking a Talent Partner with expertise in commercial roles. This position offers a unique opportunity: not only will you help streamline our hiring process, but you'll also play a pivotal role in building our commercial talent department as well as strategically advice the commercial leads on how to effectively scale their teams as well. If you have valuable insights, previous experience in a growing tech startup and are excited to do it again as well as shape the recruitment landscape, Synthesia is eager to collaborate with you.

The Role...

  • Strategic Ownership: Spearhead talent acquisition for our commercial departments, ensuring Synthesia's growth and success in Sales, Customer Success, and Customer Support arenas.

  • Forward-thinking Recruitment: Anticipate future roles and needs, consulting hiring managers on strategies to effectively scale their commercial teams.

  • Training Facilitator: Equip your colleagues and hiring managers with the necessary skills and insights for hiring, ensuring a consistent and high-quality recruitment process across the board.

  • Recruitment Consultation: Act as the in-house expert, assisting Hiring Managers in refining their requirements and finding solutions without compromising quality.

  • Tech-Savvy Operations: Strive to continuously improve and optimize our processes with the use of tools that increase individual output.

  • Hands-on Hiring: Focus primarily on senior and managerial roles within the commercial sectors.

  • Talent Pool Management: Establish and oversee a robust and diverse talent pool, ensuring Synthesia is always connected with the industry's best.

  • Brand Ambassadorship: Amplify and elevate Synthesia's employer brand, making it a choice destination for top talent both internally and externally.

  • Candidate Experience: Continuously enhance the candidate journey, ensuring every interaction is a positive reflection of Synthesia's values and make sure this is the case for all steps in the process.

About you...

  • You have demonstrated success in guiding SaaS or tech organizations through rapid expansion phases.

  • You have an established history of leading and managing talent acquisition teams, fostering an environment of ownership.

  • You've achieved a significant track record of success in recruiting for commercial roles.

  • You are visionary in crafting and refining recruitment processes and methodologies.

  • You excel at crafting creative and effective sourcing strategies.

  • You possess exceptional skills in stakeholder management, combined with clear and compelling communication abilities.

  • You have sharp critical thinking capabilities complemented by the confidence to voice informed opinions.

  • You hold a deep-seated passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, with a commitment to ensuring equitable hiring processes.

  • You are data-driven in your approach.
