We’re seeking our first ever Head of Partnerships to join Synthesia and our mission of making video accessible for all. Using your wealth of experience scoping, implementing, and winning Partnerships, you will become responsible for how this will ultimately drive revenue at Synthesia. The way we consume information has changed - up to 80% of the web’s traffic is video - but the way we create corporate content is stuck in the 80’s. Video drives meaningfully higher engagement and retention than text yet has been overly expensive and time consuming historically. Integrating and partnering Synthesia with the world’s leading brands will make the creation, use and sharing of video easier, which will have a direct impact on information retention and action.

We already work with ~60 of the Fortune 100 - across myriad use cases - e-commerce, training, chat deflection, et al. No-one has built an AI Video partnerships program before - we are defining a new category - so we need someone who has worked across partner types to create a category in a rapidly scaling environment.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Partnership strategy that will increase Sales win-rates in the funnel via direct and indirect agreements, increasing product usage.
  • Help us define the hypotheses we want to test, then map out the universe of partnerships over our existing Sales + Success (prospects & customers) framework
  • Develop a short term and long term strategy
  • Identify new partners and set up collaboration with them to increase Synthesia’s impact in the market
  • Create and refine a scalable Partnerships playbook that covers pricing, partnership scoping, technical engagement, and objection handling
  • Structuring new types of agreement s
  • Feedback to product/project manage with Product

We’d love to hear from you if…

  • You’re a Partnerships expert; you bring a wealth of experience building and running this function in relevant high-growth SaaS environments
  • You’ve operated in value-driven, methodological Sales environments (ideally using MEDDPICC and Command of the Message frameworks)
  • You have experience building with creative partnerships among multiple verticals
  • You have multiple examples of how your Partnership expertise and programs have increased Sales win-rates in the funnel and increase product usage post-sale (increase CSAT, engagement, retention)
  • An aptitude for technical language
  • A quantitative and analytical mindset, with the ability to create data-driven sales forecasts and reports
  • You are proactive and hands-on, ready to launch our program prior to building your own team
